I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Paranormal Activity in theaters and I have to say, this movie truly scared me to death and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s so rare to see a movie that is actually frightening but this movie is a huge exception and it seems like all the scary films that are original are only getting select screenings and not theatrical. What this movie accomplishes so well is that it does not let down the entire movie.

Paranormal Activity Trailer, News and Poster.

 You know how there are so many low budget films that just don't do it for you, in terms of special effects. Sometimes just shooting it raw brings more of an eerie je ne se quoi in horror movies. This movie has a 'Blair Witch Project' kind of feel. Everyone is raving about Paramount's 'Paranormal Activity. This little thriller is Directed and Written by Oren Peli.

Plot:  After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic, but is certainly most active in the middle of the night.  Especially when they sleep.
