'Kill Theory' Trailer and Still. Final Movie to appear at Horrorfest 4: 8 films to die for,


Kill theory is the eighth and final pick that will appear  in Horrorfest 4: 8 films to die for.
Kill Theory was written by  and Directed by Chris Moore. Starring roles are filled by Agnes Bruckner, Patrick Flueger, Taryn Manning, Teddy Dunn, Ryanne Duzich, Daniel Franzese, Theo Rossi, Steffi Wickens, and Kevin Gage.

Synopsis: a group of college friends visit a secluded vacation home to celebrate their impending graduation. The fun doesn’t last long, however. Forced to participate in a deadly experiment by a sadistic psychopath, each friend must kill in order to survive. As tension builds and friendships crack, these friends realize that only one can make it out alive. Loyalties are tested, tensions escalate and hope fades as each one struggles to survive.

We were going to ask if this press release below was indeed correct and that we  are interested in watching this film just to know if this press release is really right,  but after searching for the trailer online we have confirmed it. Though, we are even more curious now to watch the film. Under the Press release you can find a teaser trailer off youtube for this film Warning: It contains nudity and some gory scenes. It's like walking out of a Marilyn Manson Video but with gore and nudity added.Very 70's horror feel to it as well.

'Doctor Sleep' Follow up Novel To 'The Shining'?

Apparently, Stephen King announced that there might be plans in writing a sequel to  one of his best selling Classics 'The Shining' As of right now it is just up in the air since he has his book tour promoting his new Novels 'Under the Dome' and 'Talisman'. British Vampire Film Gets Go Ahead For DVD Release: 'The Vampires of Bloody Island'


New DVD label 'The Weird World of Wibbell' (the cult movie arm of UK indie distributer Wibbell Productions) announced November 15th of 2009 that the long awaited DVD release of it's British comedy-horror film 'The Vampires of Bloody Island' is expected before Christmas in the UK, USA, Canada and Ireland. The exact dates for each territory will be declared within the coming weeks.

Dahmer V. Gacy Trailer and Movie Poster.


Dahmer v. Gacy a Horror Comedy that will be released in 2010.

From their Press Release: Angry Baby Monkey Pictures has finally released the first previews of its latest horror/comedy: Dahmer v Gacy. The film stars indie king Ford Austin (who also directed) as Jeffery Dahmer and slasher film veteran Randal Malone as John Wayne Gacy. The film also features Ethan Phillips (Star Trek: Voyager, Benson), Art LaFleuer (probably best known now as “tooth fairy” in the Santa Clause series), and the erstwhile Harland Williams, as God. Heavy Metal fans will also recognize Steven Adler, of Guns n Roses fame.

'Zombies of Mass Destruction' 5th film to join Horrorfest: 8 Films to Die for in theaters January 29,2010



Once again we have the latest film that will be featured in HorrorFest: 8 films to Die for. This time it's a Zombie horror comedy titled 'Zombies of Mass Destruction' After Dark has included a still for us. Afterdark Films inked this deal with Typecast Pictures. We have provided a trailer from Typecast Pictures below.
Kevin Hamedani Directed and Co-Wrote the feature with Ramon Isao.
The film stars Janette Armand, Doug Fahl, and Cooper Hopkins.

'Shutter Island' Exclusive Trailer Debuted in The Scream Awards 2009.

Based on the show "My Super Sweet 16" MTV is venturing into something new with the network. This will be their first horror related project. MTV is also said to be working on a remake for Teen Wolf. This has nothing to do with the other Teen Wolf Movie remake where according to Horrormovies.ca the main character will be a girl.

Another Award for The Sphere of the Lycanthrope.



The Sphere of the Lycanthrope Written and Directed by David stay ---is quickly becoming a cult classic. The film has won Best Horror/Science Fiction Film at The Script to Screen Festival.This is the second win in this category in as many attempts for “Sphere of the Lycanthrope.” The film also won the best Horror film award at the Action on Film festival in Pasadena Ca in August of this year.

'Hidden'--- Latest Addition To Horror Fest ( 2010) 8 Films To Die For.

After Dark Films CEO Courtney Solomon announced  their latest installment, a Norwegian psychological horror titled 'Hidden' ---after inking a deal with Non Stop Films AB.

The film marks the fourth title for After Dark’s latest installment of HorrorFest: 8 Films to Die For. The three other films lined up for Horror Fest 4 are 'Lake Mungo','The Graves' and 'Dread'.

Hidden is  Directed by: Pål Øie (Dark Woods)  who also  Co-wrote the script with Brio Flint. The film stars one of Norway’s most prominent actors Kristoffer Joner (Next Door and upcoming Pax)  Cast also includes: Cecilie Mosli,Anders Danielsen Lie, Bjarte Hjelmeland and Karin Park. Jan Aksel
